ATOL changes afoot

The CAA has published a consultation document that proposes the current ATOL Protection Contribution (APC) for ATOL-holding tour operators be increased to £3 per passenger from October. This is to ensure that the ATOL scheme continues to provide effective financial protection for holidaymakers booking air holidays and the proposal comes partly as a result of the failure of XL last year.
