Some of the items that will be on sale at the Chilli Festival in August

August will be hotter than ever for groups visiting this year’s Chilli Festival, taking place at the Plant Centre at Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire.

Local chilli growers will gather to sell their wares, pass on growing advice and show off numerous ways to use a variety of chillis through cooking demonstrations.

All visitors will have the chance to experience live Mexican music performed throughout the day, with the various performers dressed in traditional Mexican clothing, as well as the opportunity to taste chilli chutneys, chocolates and ice cream, washed down with locally brewed beer. For the less daring, there will be jewellery, book, and ceramic stalls to explore.

The Chilli Festival will take place on 30th and 31st August at Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire. Admission is free. For more information telephone 01296 653226.
