Manchester Art Gallery

The exhibition, ‘Deodorant Type’ by Korean sculptor, Gwon Osang, will be on display at the Manchester Art Gallery from June until September.

Made purely of parts of photographs, the life-size sculptures aim to represent textures and colours similar to those of a real person.

A collection of his work ‘Control’, sculpted especially for the ‘Asia Triennial Manchester 08’ show, contains more life-size sculptures of people and this will appear alongside ‘Deodorant Type’.

The exhibition ‘Deodorant Type: Sculptures by Gwon Osang’ runs from 21st June until 21st September and ‘Gwon Osang and Choe U-ram: Asia Triennial Manchester 08’ runs from now until 21st September at Manchester Art Gallery. Admission is free. For more information telephone 0161 235 8888
