Rural food, crafts and activities will be the focus of this year’s Country Show at Hatfield House, giving your group a chance to enjoy activities ranging from celebrity cookery lessons to country sports and meet the BBC’s John Craven.

With a specially designed celebrity kitchen, where chefs such as John Torode of BBC’s Masterchef will lead lessons, Fine Food Fair tents will focus on traditional British cuisine and ingredients as well as modern additions such as British wines. Nearby, your group will be able to enjoy working displays by local craftsmen, a parade of steam driven vehicles, dog trials and animals ranging from pigs to poultry. You can also try your hand at country activities such as clay pigeon shooting and longbow archery, take in a game of polo or watch the horse-drawn buggy driving races.

The Hatfield House Country Show will be held at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire from 15th to 17th August. Discounts on entry are available for pre-booked groups. For more information telephone 01707 287010.
