Jousting and the Victorians
Your group can experience a taste of 19th century life at Blenheim Palace this August at the stately home’s ‘Jousting and the Victorians’ event.
As part of proceedings, medieval entertainers, ‘The Knights of Royal England’, will recreate the joust that occurred in 1912 at Earls Court in London between Viscount Crichton, Baron Tweedmouth, and others.
Groups can watch Victorian falconry displays and practice archery, as well as lose themselves in the maze, set in 2,000 acres of land, or visit the lavender garden amidst the pleasure gardens.
‘Jousting and the Victorians’ will take place from 8th to 10th August at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. Discounted entry is offered to pre-booked groups of 15 or more. For more information telephone 01993 811091.
