Groups can explore the Peak District in April at the Peak District Walking Festival in Derbyshire

This April, groups will have an opportunity to explore Derbyshire’s Peak District National Park on foot during the Peak District Walking Festival 2008.

The Festival features a week long series of events, including a range of walks of varying grades, led by local experts on themes including food and drink, ghosts, heritage and geology. Evening events will also be staged, which will include talks and presentations on various apsects of the National Park, such as sustainable tourism, and a variety of musical entertainment.

The Peak District Walking Festival 2008 will take place from 19th to 27th April at various locations in the Peak District National Park.
