Indian pipers at the Piping Live Festival 2007

Glasgow will once again play host to the Piping Live Festival this August, with a celebration of over 8,000 traditional bagpipe players.

Taking place at venues around the city, the Festival will feature highlights such as the ‘International Piping Concert’, ‘Gaelic Piping Night’ and free daily pipe concerts in George Square. The last night will see pipers congregate in the city centre for the ‘After Worlds Shindig’. This last night party will giving your group the chance to see some of the world’s top pipe and folk bands play until the early hours as part of a street carnival.
