The Robin Hood Festival
The 23rd annual Robin Hood Festival will be taking place at Sherwood Country Park and Visitor Centre this summer, near the village of Edwinstowe in Nottinghamshire, running from 30th July until 5th August.
The week-long event will feature a host of costumed entertainers ranging from jugglers and jesters through to strolling minstrels and street theatre performers as well as archers and experts in medieval combat.
Various shows will take place throughout the event including displays of archery, medieval combat shows and falconry. Additionally, themed refreshments such as hog roasts will be available.
The Robin Hood Festival will take place from 30th July until 5th August at the Sherwood Country Park and Visitor Centre in Nottinghamshire. Entry to the event is free and free coach parking is available on site when pre-booked. For more information telephone 01623 821327.
