Preston-born Katie Walton will be returning to her home town after 22 years, during which time she has managed a variety of hotels, to take on the role of General Manager at the recently opened Legacy Preston International Hotel.

Walton is keen to see groups using the new £4.5 million site, which offers group discounts as well as state-of-the-art leisure facilities and accommodation in 75 modern bedrooms.
