NMC Tours and Gardiners Travel, the Northumberland-based coach and tour operator, has appointed Andrew Nessworthy as General Manager of its Spennymoor branch.

He will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of the branch and developing the private group segment of the business.

With a background as a coach driver and previous sales management roles at Tourmaster Direct in Lincolnshire, the Classic Lodges hotel group, in Lancashire, and Sleepwell Hotels on the Isle of Man, Nessworthy has worked in and around the industry for almost 18 years.

He plans to introduce exciting new tours to the company whilst maintaining a low selling price to the consumer, securing a steady expansion of business in the coming years.
