The city of York’s new tourism partnership, which will be officially launched in April 2008 and is expected to be branded VisitYork, recently appointed John Yeomans to the post of Chairman Designate.

Yeomans, who was previously Senior Partner at Harrowell Shaftoe Solicitors in York, has been involved with city for over 35 years and will be working closely with the group travel and tourism industry to continue to improve the city’s existing attractions, accommodation and visitor services, such as coach parking in the city centre.
