Mercedes Benz is set to unveil its next generation Travego coach at the International Commercial Vehicle Show (IAA) in Hannover, Germany, this September.

The new model will feature Mercedes Powershift automated eight-speed manual transmission, designed to increase fuel efficiency, and will also come with Active Brake Assist, a system that uses radar sensors to identify moving objects in front of the vehicle then raises one of a series of warnings to the driver or carries out emergency braking as necessary. Active Brake Assist will be a world first for a coach.
