The Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) has released guidelines for groups planning to visit the newly opened Wembley Stadium by coach.

GTOs must apply for a coach parking permit on the Stadium’s website at least three days before an event takes place, to allow enough time for the permit to be posted. Without this, groups will not be granted access. There is a charge for parking permits, which vary in price from £30 to £50.

Coaches will not be permitted to arrive more than three hours before an event takes place and must leave as soon as an event finishes.

Similarly, due to the nature of the parking arrangements, coaches will not be able to drop a group off and return to pick them up at a later time.

Instead, a drivers’ restroom has been created, which can accommodate up to 250 drivers, and is equipped with toilets, a television and refreshment facilities.
