Gillingham-based coach tour operator, Kings Ferry Travel Group, was purchased last month by the transport group, National Express, based in Birmingham.

Kings Ferry, which runs a fleet of 75 coaches, will continue to operate as Kings Ferry Travel Group, under the umbrella of National Express.

No plans are under way to alter the existing group travel side of the business, which includes a specialist group bookings department.

Earlier this year, the company published its group travel brochure for 2008, ‘Tailor Made Tours and Itineraries for Groups’. This is still available to group organisers, and the details of tours, itineraries and group discounts it contains are still accurate.
