Royalty theme for London coach map
The new London Coach Parking Map was launched this March in an event held in the New Armouries at the Tower of London.
Jointly produced by Transport for London (TfL) and CPT, this year the map is themed on Royalty to coincide with the anniversary of Henry VIII’s accession to the throne. In line with this, it features the locations of parking facilities near London’s regal attractions, including Buckingham Palace and the Royal Observatory, Greenwich.
Now in its seventh year, the map is designed to help coach drivers get around London with ease by detailing the locations, availability, cost and booking requirements of coach facilities in central London, Docklands, Greenwich and Woolwich.
An interactive version of the map can also be found at www.tfl.gov.uk/coachparking.
For the first time, TfL has also launched a coach drivers helpline, which provides more information on coach parking facilities, prices, parking locations and regulations in the capital. This can be reached on 0845 604 0770.
