The Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) recently met with officials from Wembley Stadium to discuss the confusion experienced by coach operators when visiting the new stadium.

A number of points were clarified during the meeting. Firstly, GTOs must pre-order a parking permit at least three working days prior to any event. This can be done by visiting www.csparking.com/stadium. The permit and driver’s instructions will then be sent out by post.

Secondly, coaches must not arrive more than three hours prior to any event.

Lastly, for late bookings, or when permits are unavailable, coach drivers should follow the signs for Wembley Stadium coach park, where they will be directed to a nearby parking facility. Under no circumstances must coaches unload passengers in the streets. Parking charges will still apply.
