In preparation for the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall in 2009, the German National Tourist Office has published a brochure entitled ‘Welcome to the country without borders’.

As well as sections on related museums and exhibitions, sights and memorials, events, tours and excursions, there is a timeline highlighting Germany’s recent history leading up to the destruction of the Berlin Wall in November 1989.
