The 2008 programme for the 36th annual Hong Kong Arts Festival, which will run from 13th February to 16th March, was announced earlier this year.

Taking place at various venues in Hong Kong, including City Hall and the Hong Kong Arts Centre, the Festival will feature four categories; Music, Opera, Dance and Theatre. Within these there are scheduled performances from various internationally renowned performers including, in Music, the London Philharmonic Choir, in Opera, the Beijing Opera, in Dance, the Stuttgart Ballet and in Theatre, the American Repertory Theatre.
