Let's rock
Due to open in the U.S. in the spring of this year, work is almost complete on South Carolina’s newest theme park, the Rock n’ Roll inspired Hard Rock Park.
Offering a discount on entry to pre-booked groups, the new Park is set in the coastal resort of Myrtle Beach and its 140 acres will feature over 40 attractions and rides. These will be divided into six themed areas such as the Rock n’ Roll Heaven and British Invasion sections. There will also be an open air amphitheatre to accommodate touring bands and an exhibition of Rock n’ Roll memorabilia from the company’s existing collection which also features in its world-wide chain of Hard Rock Cafes.
In the Rock n’ Roll Heaven area, groups will be able to ride the Led Zeppelin, a 150-foot high roller-coaster, which will also feature a 120-foot high loop and exhibitions of memorabilia from the band displayed throughout the queueing aisles.
Not far from here, in the British Invasion area, your group will be able to visit a recreation of 60s London featuring the Carnaby Street Cafe. Celebrating the British contribution to Rock n’ Roll, the cafe will include giant lava lamps and an American interpretation of what constitutes British cuisine.
