Madame Tussauds opens in Berlin
Merlin Entertainment Group has opened its eighth Madame Tussauds attraction in Germany’s capital city, Berlin.
Situated on Unter den Linden boulevard, the attraction has nine zones and features wax models of famous German celebrities and public figures, including tennis player Boris Johnson, actress Marlene Dietrich and composer Ludwig van Beethoven, as well as international celebrities such as Madonna, George Clooney and Justin Timberlake.
In addition to a number of interactive exhibits – including the chance to take a psychological test with Sigmund Freud, a penalty kick against retired goalkeeper Oliver Kahn and an IQ test to find out if you are cleverer than inventor Albert Einstein – groups will also be able to learn the story behind Madame Tussauds, with interactive touch screens enabling visitors to find out more about its creator Marie Tussauds and how the wax figures are produced.
Discounts are offered for groups of 15 or more.
