The newly built Coqui Water Park at El Conquistador Resort and Golden Door Spa opened last month in Puerto Rico.

Following a rainforest theme, the 2.4 acre park consists of swimming pools, rapids and waterfalls. As well as enjoying these, groups can climb up a 60-foot tower, which looks down onto the Caribbean Sea and take advantage of one of three high-speed slides that branch off it.

The water park is part of a £61.5m renovation to the hotel that has also seen a refurbishment of all 750 bedrooms and suites.

The hotel offers discounted packages to groups which include accommodation at the resort and admission to the Water Park.
