NCL launches group incentives
American cruise line, NCL, has announced details of its new Group Sales Programme, which will reward groups with ‘Amenity Points’ depending on the cruise itinerary, duration and departure date.
Once a GTO has selected a cruise, they will be given a value of ‘Amenity Points’, which can be redeemed against onboard credit and services. GTOs are then free to spend the points as they wish. For instance, a 14-night Mediterranean cruise, departing in June 2009, is allocated eight amenity points, which could be equivalent to $100 onboard credit for every stateroom (four points), a one-hour cocktail party (two points), a bottle of sparkling wine for every stateroom (one point) and a group photograph for every member (one point).
In addition, parties of eight or more also benefit from special group pricing and one free place for every 16 adult passengers.
