Parisian rides
The French theme park, Disneyland Resort Paris, is preparing to unveil two new rides for the coming year.
The first, the Twilight Zone of Terror, offers groups the chance to experience a 13-storey plunge in a doomed lift-car. Set to open towards the end of this month, the ride will be themed around the story of a haunted skyscraper. The ride’s passengers will board the haunted lift, where special effects will create the impression of ghosts and demons taunting them as they plunge to their deaths.
From March, meanwhile, groups seeking gentler thrills will be able to visit the park’s new Stitch Live attraction. This will be themed around the 2002 Disney feature film, Lilo and Stitch, and will use special effects to allow groups to interact with the popular animated creature.
