The Hilton Molino Stucky Venice Hotel in Italy recently began offering Group Gondola Lessons from its private pier on the Giudecca Canal, 10 minutes by boat from the Piazza San Marco.

Available for groups of up to 40 people, the lessons offer participants the chance to learn the 1,000 year old Venetian art of punting a gondola under the guidance of one of the city’s professional gondoliers. After lessons on craft docked at the private pier, your group will be able to head out into the canals of the ancient city on their own boats, guided by their teacher.

The lessons are offered at a discount to groups of between 10 to 40 people.
