DFDS Seaways has launched its new cruise schedule for the coming year.

The new cruise destinations and voyages include monthly sailings to the Arctic Circle from December 2007 until February 2008 to witness aurora borealis.

More commonly known as the Northern Lights, the phenomena is only visible in the Northern Hemisphere and is caused by huge electric currents in the upper atmosphere generating displays of green and red lights in the night’s sky.
