It has been announced that Gloucester-based tour operator, Travelscope, has gone into administration resulting in the loss of more than 180 jobs and affecting holiday plans for up to 45,000 customers.

Talks are currently taking place with potential buyers and the new owner is likely to be announced in the next few days.
