WA Shearings, the tour operator based in Wigan, has unveiled a new brochure entitled ‘A European Experience’.

Aimed at groups looking to take a break in Europe during the winter months, GTOs can choose from a variety of new itineraries as well as old favourites to destinations such as Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia and Italy.

New itineraries include ‘Romance of Prague and Saxony’, an eight-day tour that travels to Cologne in Germany by Eurostar and then on to Prague. Highlights include a steam train trip through the Ore Mountains, which are located on the border of Germany and the Czech Republic, followed by a funicular railway trip with lunch at the mountain-top Luisenhof Restaurant.
