Liverpool eaterie, 60 Hope Street, has been awarded one of the first accreditations in the Taste Liverpool scheme.

The scheme is based on the Taste Lancashire model and highlights those establishments in the Liverpool City Region that show excellence in customer service and food and drink provision, offering a quality dining experience to visitors.

It is independently assessed by Quality in Tourism, and a mystery inspector judges whether criteria covering quality of food, hospitality, service, efficiency and cleanliness are met.

Those who score 60 to 80% in the independent assessment receive a Taste Liverpool Quality Assured accreditation whilst those who score over 80% receive a Taste Liverpool Highest Quality Assured accreditation; 60 Hope Street has been awarded the latter.

The main restaurant seats 90 people whilst there is also a private dining room that sits up to 30 people, which can be hired by groups.
