Alton Towers theme park, in Staffordshire, has fitted an Evac+Chair to the framework of four of its popular rides to allow disabled people full access to the park.

In the event of an emergency, the evacuation chair can be wheeled down a steep flight of steps, enabling disabled visitors to evacuate rides safely.
