Spencer family home Althorp in Northampton is opening outside its usual July and August summer season for the first time in 2009 for pre-booked groups of 30 ore more.

Visits will be available on Mondays in April, May, June and September. The estate is offering a range of packages exclusive to group visits including luxury brunches and afternoon teas served in the State Dining Room.

All groups visiting Althorp receive a personal welcome, and group rates include admission to the first floor of the house, its extensive grounds and the Diana: A Celebration exhibition.
