Bury Markets is now offering guided tours that lead visitors around former Bury Market sites including Market Place and Kay Gardens, before ending at the market’s current site, located near to Millgate Shopping Centre.

Lasting one hour, groups will learn about the history of the market, which dates back to 1440, and will have the opportunity to talk to some of the town’s long-running stallholders.

Visitors can leave with delicacies such as Bury black pudding, tripe and cow heel from one of the market’s 370 stalls.
