Channel Tunnel services back on track
Eurotunnel, owner and operator of the Channel Tunnel, has announced that a full service will resume the night of 9th – 10th February, ahead of initial forecasts.
The news follows almost four months of repair works on Interval 6 of the North Tunnel after a fire here last September.
From this date, up to three passenger shuttles will operate per hour at their normal speed meaning a crossing time of 35 minutes.
Eurostar has also announced that it is to return to its full service from 23rd February.
A normal timetable will mean that 19 services will operate on the London-Paris route, up to 10 on the London-Brussels route and a brand new Ashford-Brussels direct route will also launch having been delayed since last December.
Group rates are available from both providers.
