Groups visiting Bolton can now enjoy three new walking trail leaflets published by Manchester’s Countryside, a partnership between Marketing Manchester and the five districts of North Manchester.

One of the walks, named ‘Historic Houses, Highest Hill’, departs from Smithills Hall, a 14th century manor house and leads visitors on a circular trail over the West Pennine Moors. Each leaflet is covered with a waterproof film so they can be used in all weather conditions.
