Greys Court re-opens

In Oxfordshire, the Tudor manor house, Greys Court, is due to finish its restoration programme and open to groups next April.

The house was built in the 15th century on the site of an earlier building, whose fortifications can still be seen. The restoration has seen extensive conservation work done to the interior, where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned.

The house will also open several new areas to groups such as a restored family bedroom, where you can learn more about its last occupant, Lady Brunner.

Groups will be offered discounts on entry and pre-booked special interest tours including a guided walk around the historic gardens.
