Hilton Hotels Corporation has announced plans to introduce 30 new UK hotels, totalling around 4,000 rooms, within the next five years.

The company has signed an agreement with hotel developer HLH Property, based in Essex,to build mainly Hampton by Hilton hotels – the company’s economy hotel brand.

In recent months, the company has already agreed alliances with developers Shiva Hotels and Somerston Hotels to build a further 40 new hotels.

Separate to its latest deal, the company also already has 13 new hotels under development in the UK including the first Hampton by Hilton hotel, due to open in Corby North, in Northamptonshire, in 2009.
