The head of King Kong at Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in Blackpool

Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in Blackpool has unveiled several new themed areas in the latest stage of its multi-million pound re-development plan.

The Hollywood themed area ‘Premier Night’ recreates a film premiere scene and gives visitors the chance to share the red carpet with waxworks of movie A-listers such as Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp and Tom Hanks.

Another new addition is the ‘King Kong set’ where groups can come face-to-face with a 15-foot model of King Kong with moving animatronic eyes. You can even re-enact the classic damsel in distress or fearless hero role in the giant ape’s 6-foot hand.

Other new areas include replica film sets from Titanic, Indiana Jones and Superman.

Groups of 10 or more receive discounted entry.
