News from the gorge
The Ironbridge Gorge Museums Trust, which includes 10 museums and attractions based in Ironbridge in Shropshire, has just released its new Groups Guide for 2008.
The new guide includes information on all 10 of the attractions. These include the Ironbridge, the first bridge to have been constructed entirely of metal, Blists Hill Victorian Town, a recreated Victorian industrial town and the Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron, which explores the history of the iron smelting that put the area at the forefront of the Industrial Revolution.
The guides contain itineraries for groups as well as information on pre-booking group tours and on available discounts.
