October saw the re-opening of both Cinema City and Norwich Theatre Royal, both of which have undergone extensive refurbishments.

Cinema City, situated in the heart of the city is housed in a medieval merchants’ building and is believed to be one of the oldest working cinemas in the country. Its 4.5 million pound refurbishment has included a refit of the auditorium, as well as new projection equipment and the addition of a cafe-bar to the building.

Norwich Theatre Royal, also located in the city centre, has just undergone a 10 million pound refurbishment, which has seen the modernisation of its main auditorium and a refit of its restaurants and bars. The completion of the refurbishment comes just in time for the theatre to celebrate its 250th anniversary next year.

Group discounts are negotiable on tickets at both venues.
