Underground visitor attraction, the Real Mary King’s Close in Edinburgh, has unveiled a new courtyard coffee house.

The Royal Exchange Coffee House has been inspired by the original 18th century building located on Mary King’s Close and offers groups a chance to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the Royal Mile.

The coffee house features large pictorial screens showcasing 18th century watercolour images of the original coffee house and of the Close itself.

A choice of quality teas, coffees, other drinks and snacks are available, including ‘Berry Scrumptious’ – fresh Scottish strawberries and raspberries dipped in chocolate.

Groups visiting the Real Mary King’s Close are offered a pre-booked discount on admission for 15 or more people with GTOs receiving free entry.
