London-based ticketing agency Encore Advance is now offering group’s the choice of six new West End musicals as part of its best-selling ‘Senior Day Out’ package for the over 60s.

New shows that have been added to the itinerary are ‘The Lion King’, ‘Mary Poppins; ‘The Lord of the Rings’, ‘Buddy’, ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ and ‘Cabaret’.

The full-day package begins with a trip to Kensington Palace, where groups can visit the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection and, until the end of the year, have access to the recent exhibition, ‘Diana: a Princess Remembered. This is an audio-visual exhibition that includes a display of portraits taken by photographer Mario Testino and various interviews with people who knew Diana.

Groups will then enjoy a fish and chip lunch at Smollensky’s
on London’s Strand before ending the day with a matinee musical performance.
