The end for rollercoaster at Alton Towers
Alton Towers theme park, in Staffordshire, will be dismantling The Corkscrew rollercoaster next month after almost 30 years in operation.
The ride, which was believed to be Europe’s first double loop rollercoaster, will be replaced by a new ride; however, details of this are still to be confirmed.
Groups of 10 or more qualify for discounted theme park tickets.
