Up and away with Museum of Army Flying
Groups with an interest in the history of military aviation will soon be able to visit a new gallery at Hampshire’s Museum of Army Flying near Middle Wallop, which will open in April this year.
The new gallery will feature several of the Museum’s new acquisitions including two former US Air Force helicopters, the Lynx and the Cobra, both of which served in the Vietnam War.
The Museum, which offers group discounts on a sliding scale, explores the almost century-long history of military aviation from the First World War to the ongoing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
