Van Gogh Cruise Line declined ABTA membership
Gloucestershire-based Van Gogh Cruise Line, which took over operations for the ‘MV Van Gogh’ cruise ship following the demise of Travelscope, has had its membership application turned down by ABTA.
Without ABTA membership, the company has been unable to take over cruise bookings made with Travelscope and has subsequently cancelled all sailings until November.
All passengers who were due to travel on the cancelled cruises will be contacted by the company.
The cruise line is now seeking an alternative bond and is expected to launch a new brochure in the next few weeks.
