A computer-generated image of the ‘American Idol’ exhibit

It has been announced that a new ‘American Idol’ exhibit will open at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida within its Hollywood Studios theme park.

Due to be unveiled late this year, the as yet un-named exhibit is designed to replicate the popular ‘American Idol’ television talent show.

The experience will include an audition process, which will involve singing live in a video kiosk in view of a panel of Hollywood Studios producers.

Singers who pass the screening test will then be treated to vocal training and hair and make up styling before being invited to perform in a theme park show, in front of a live audience and a panel of judges.

The performers with the highest votes will then go through to the Grand Finale show at the park and the eventual winner will receive automatic entry to the regional auditions for the ‘American Idol’ television show.
