Groups heading to California are now able to see Los Angeles Zoo’s new £9.5 million gorilla habitat, Campo Gorilla Reserve, which opened last month.

The new enclosure has been designed to reflect the gorillas natural habitat in West Africa. Groups will approach the gorilla enclosure along a pathway through a small tropical forest swathed in an artificial mist. At the end of the path are glass walled viewing rooms and open areas separated from the gorillas by small moats.

The zoo offers discounts on a sliding scale for groups of more than 15 people.
