Hank Williams immortalised
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, in Tennessee, has launched a new major exhibition called ‘Family Tradition: The Hank Williams Legacy’, which explores how American music star Hank Williams has influenced popular music.
The exhibition, which features more than 200 artefacts, instruments, song manuscripts, costumes, photographs, correspondence and awards will be displayed until December 2009.
The items have been provided by the Williams family and many of them have never before been seen by the public.
Admission is discounted for groups of 15 or more and guided tours can also be arranged.
