Michigan moon walks
The Michigan Space Science Centre opened this summer at Kalamazoo’s Air Zoo in the city of Portage.
It houses a large collection of space artefacts from the Smithsonian Institute, which include a moon rock, a space capsule from the Mercury shuttle and an astronaut training simulator, which allows rocket crews to train in zero-gravity.
Discounts on entry are available to groups of 20 people or more.
