A digital representation of how Hogsmeade will look at the new Harry Potter theme park

It was announced recently that a new Harry Potter theme park is to be constructed within the Universal Orlando Resort in Florida.

Expected to open in late 2009, the new attraction will offer Potter fans the chance to visit the fictional village of Hogsmeade, Harry’s school – Hogwarts – the mysterious Forbidden Forest and The Leaky Cauldron pub.

Various costumed characters will be on-hand at the attraction, imitating characters from the book including Professor Snape and Professor Dumbledore.
