New tower for Caesar’s Palace
Harrah’s Entertainment, a global provider of casino entertainment, has announced details of a £500 million expansion of Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The centrepiece of the expansion will be the 350-foot Octavius Tower which will house 665 guestrooms, including three luxurious pool villa suites. These will be built along the second floor of the new tower and will overlook three new swimming pools, an outdoor whirlpool spa retreat and a poolside cafe.
In addition to the Tower, the resort’s existing 512-room Forum Tower will undergo a major refurbishment which will see the introduction of LCD TVs to every room and walk-in marble showers.
The expansion is due for completion in early 2009. Groups booking 10 or more rooms will be eligible for discounts.
