Pennsylvania’s chocolate town
Ffrom January next year, groups will be able to learn more about the founder of American chocolate company, Milton S. Hershey, at the £11 million Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue.
Based in Hershey, the town he built for his employees in Pennsylvania, the museum will explore every aspect of Hershey’s life and work, from his innovation in the manufacture of chocolate to his founding of the Hershey Industrial School for orphans. Hershey would later bequeath his fortune to the orphans after his death.
The attraction will also feature exhibitions looking at modern day chocolate production methods and coco farming and groups will be able to book chocolate making classes in the Chocolate Lab.
There are discounts offered to groups on both visits and chocolate making classes.
